“Doctor” Johnny Fever: This is SHOTS FIRED! I’m Johnny Fever, the doctor who gives treatment through the speaker! As always, I have with me a man with takes so hot, you need to wear oven mitts just to palm your face; the man, the myth, the legend, Venus Flytrap!
Venus Flytrap: Thank you for that Doc! But I don’t want to mess around today, I want to get right into it! There’s a lot to discuss and I don’t want to skip over a single second!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: Well, let’s get into it then! The Hit Girls were in a heck of a shoot out against the Bellas last week after you and I both predicted big things from Dixon and Cotton. Things didn’t pan out that way and Cincy trailed the entire game, until a late touchdown in the fourth quarter off the running of Salvatore-Spencer put us up.
Venus Flytrap: Just to be clear, my prediction was predicated on the fact that Vaughn had to actually throw the ball to Roxy!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: …and Dixon.
Venus Flytrap: MAN! THERE YOU GO AGAIN WITH THAT DIXON SHIT! You know what? We are gonna pump the brakes and talk about her ass!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: Be careful…I think her ‘ass’ is taken already.
Venus Flytrap: HA HA! Very funny, Doc! I heard that Miss Dix got all hot over some true comments I made last week and she wanted to fight me! That’s the problem with her! She’s a hot head and she doesn’t realize her place! Now, I’m not saying she aint good…
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: Clearly, she has more touchdowns than Cotton.
Venus Flytrap: …
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: She has twice as many.
Venus Flytrap: MAN, GO TO HELL WITH ALL THAT! Anyway! Miss Dix is a damn rookie and she needs to be respectful to me and ESPECIALLY TO ROXY! The only reason Roxy doesn’t have 100 touchdowns right now is because Angie calls out plays using the breeds of cats…NOBODY EVEN KNOWS WHAT THAT SHIT MEANS!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: That’s not true, but what is true is that you and I were BOTH wrong last week, but The Girls made good with what they had, and that has been, in my opinion the smartest draft choice that Grey made when she brought in Anderson. She came in and everyone balked because they made her the fourth wideout…pretty much a position where she’ll be lucky to see the ball come her way, but she turned chicken poop into chicken salad by holding down the Defense with tackling and sacks that have been difference makers in every game!
Venus Flytrap: Because she knows her place, behind AMC!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: Will you stop it!
Venus Flytrap: Hey, it’s no disrespect, I’d love to be behind AMC! But, that being said, Katie has been BEAUTIFUL since day one! She has come with the big hurt and along side Trixie, they have been making things hard on opposing Offenses. If you ask me, Angie should thank Katie and Trixie for not getting fired!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: That’s a bit of a stretch. Let’s talk about Vaughn’s performance; no touchdowns, 23 completions out of 40 attempts, and minus 2 yards rushing.
Venus Flytrap: That’s complete shit!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: Zero interceptions though. She came back from that terrible game against the Fire and she really took care of the ball. She said she was going to have words with the Coach, and regardless of the implications behind that, Coach Raheem put the ball in her hands and she protected it and The Girls pulled it out against The Bellas in a dogfight!
Venus Flytrap: No, stop right there! Angie doesn’t owe Katie and Trixie her job, she owes Maria…HER ENTIRE PAYCHECK! Say whatever you want, but if it hadn’t been for Maria doing what Angie couldn’t do, get the ball into the endzone, we’d be having a VERY different conversation! If you ask me, I think Vaughn really hates putting the ball in Maria’s hands, you can see it…WE ALL SEE IT!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: Vaughn is a competitor and a team player! She wants to win and I am pretty sure she was just as happy with Salvatore-Spencer scoring, as she would be if she had scored herself.
Venus Flytrap: THAT’S A LIE, but you keep telling yourself that!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: Well, it’s on to week 6 and Cincy travels to face Elon and the 1-4 Muskrats. Don’t let the record fool you, they were one score away from beating the undefeated Frost last week! The Muskrats are starving and I am sure they are licking their lips after seeing Cincy struggle on Offense. What do you think Fly?
Venus Flytrap: There is no reason in hell that this game should even been close! If Angie puts the ball in Roxy’s hands…we win in a blowout. If she keeps on feeding everyone who don’t matter, Maria is gonna have to bail her ass out…AGAIN!
“Doctor” Johnny Fever: Well, that’s a hot take, but I think what Vaughn has been doing has been the recipe for success in Cincy and I think that we get more of the same today. I think we are going to see 3 touchdown passes from Vaughn and some more of that stifling Defense from Anderson and Trixie. So, with that…we are gonna close the sho-
Venus Flytrap: Not yet brotha, hold up! Last week I was challenged and I want to answer it! I will happily go one and one, over social media, with ANYONE that has the balls to do it! Miss Dix called me out, so I am answering her! I will be at CTN Studios and they promised that I could have all the airtime I needed. So, if anyone in that locker room wants a piece of me…especially Roxy, I am here for it!
