Interviews Milisandre Crowthorne, Ladies All-Star Wrestling star, Lingerie Football League player, #CoolKid, & one of the four #1 contenders who will compete for the LAW Breakout Title in a five-woman ladder match this Sunday on pay-per-view!
CIRCLE TV: Miss Crowthorne, thank you for granting us this time today.
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: Um, sure thing. I knew this was gonna happen one of these days.
CIRCLE TV: Absolutely! You’re one of the most notable up and comers on the LAW roster, so we would be remiss to not find the time to talk to you. Can we start by asking you your thoughts on Ladies All-Star Wrestling?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: Well, it's like the first place I have been since my training to be a wrestler. I like the place. I’m glad I signed there cause I was able to meet Sarah [Sarah Lacklan] and Kenzi [Kenzi Grey] and the rest of the Cool Kids. I also got introduced to Bruce [Bruce Litchfield] because of signing there
CIRCLE TV: We will revisit Bruce a bit later, but let’s talk about The Cool Kids. They often find themselves in the center of controversy, just for being themselves. Do you find it challenging to be associated with them? You seem to be largely unaffected by much of the strife.
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: I don't really let it bother me. If people want to take issue with us being who we are that is their problem, not ours. I've mainly kept my head down, cause I don't really like the attention and stuff. but I know sooner, rather than later, I'll get dragged into something major and have to deal with it. Sativa [Sativa Nevaeh] has a saying that fits us really well. Love us or hate us, it's still an obsession.
CIRCLE TV: Speaking of obsessions, you’re a member of the Cincinnati Hit Girls and you were sponsored by a brand new energy drink that we hear has taken the LFL by storm! Is Cthul-Aid really as tasty as everyone says it is, and does it really improve performance?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: I like the flavor of it. But I wouldn’t say it’s any kind of performance enhancer. its similar to the otehr energy drinks out there like Monster and Redbull. it just tastes better. and, like, has a better name
CIRCLE TV: According to anonymous sources, Roxy Cotton had just drank one when she went on her 104 yard kickoff return. Any truth to that or that she was drug tested by the league right afterwards?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: I dunno? Like, we all drink it since it got promoted and stuff. I don’t see how it would need to be tested for since they don’t test for other energy drinks.
CIRCLE TV: One more question about the Lingerie Football League and we will move on. The last few games you have really come into your own at the running back position. Given the poor record Cincy has, would you entertain a trade or possibly taking your talents elsewhere next season?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: Never! I don’t care if we lose every game. I joined because the team is owned by my best friend. If I’m not on the Hit Girls I’m not gonna be in the LFL, period. Honestly it really helps me keep in shape for LAW. cause I, like, hate running but doing it in a game isn’t that bad
CIRCLE TV: Hey! Look at that! You’re a natural! Bringing us right back to LAW! This weekend you get your first championship opportunity when you face 4 other women in a hotly contested ladder match for the Breakout Championship. Tell us about your road to this huge match.
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: I’m still not too sure about that myself really. I know there was rumor around the 4 way match I was in back at Queen of the Ring. Where the winner of that match was going to get some kind of bonus or prize or something. Well, I won that one so that is why I'm in this match. At least that’s what was said when it was announced at LAW 72. I felt I deserved it since I’ve had a decent start to my wrestling career.
CIRCLE TV: So, in all actuality, you should be the sole contender for that title. How do you feel about Kenzi Grey, Maria Spencer and Nova Sinclair barging in on your opportunity? That has to upset you.
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: I will never discredit Kenzi, ever. But, like, I don't really like that she came out and all but demanded a shot before me. I can understand Nova being there, even if I don’t agree, since she was the first person to beat me in LAW. And as far as Maria goes, she doesn’t deserve to be in this match even if she has a win over the current champion. Kenzi has two wins over her, and I've beaten her three times. In fact from what I’ve seen her win over the champ is her only win since I joined up LAW. But I don’t make the matches so, I gotta deal with it.
CIRCLE TV: So, if I read you right. Neither Kenzi or Maria should be in this match, but Nova does. So, is she your biggest threat, besides the champion, Etsuko Mitzusaka?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: I would say that the only one who doesn’t belong in the match in Maria. She is beyond useless and lucked her way into it. if I had to pick others to be in the match aside from me and Etsuko it would be Kenzi and Kenzi alone.
CIRCLE TV: Come on, it sounds like you are just trying to be nice to your friend, a friend that you had a lot of issues with the last couple of weeks. The two of you actually got into a fist fight a couple of weeks ago. Care to explain what happened there?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: It was all a huge misunderstanding. I had admitted a couple weeks before that that I had developed feelings for Kenzi's wife, and my best friend, Sarah Grey-Lacklan, I had told Kenzi that I would talk to Sarah but things just kept happening and I hadn’t had the chance to talk to Sarah before LAW 72, where our fight happened. Since then, with everything that has happened, Kenzi and I have settled our issues.
CIRCLE TV: So you stopped loving Kenzi’s wife?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: No. But Kenzi understands that I would never do anything to try and split them up. They are happy together, so happy. I’ve learned to be able to bury those types of feelings and that is what I have done in this situation.
CIRCLE TV: In fact, you’ve moved on to the point where you are now engaged! Tell us about the lucky guy!
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: His name is Bruce Litchfield. He is one of Sarah's top security guards that she basically set me up with shortly after meeting her and Kenzi.
CIRCLE TV: Wow! So you were carrying a torch for Sarah while dating the man who is now your fiancé? That seems, strange. Bruce was okay with that?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: Yeah. I told him a couple weeks ago. He was raised in Lacklanland, and everyone there is really devoted to Sarah and her father before her. So he understood. And I wasn’t exactly carrying a torch for Sarah. I knew there was never gonna be anything between her and I besides friendship. I would call it an intense crush, kind of. Like I love Bruce and I have since almost he and I started dating. I can’t see myself with anyone but him.
CIRCLE TV: Fair enough. Before we wrap this up, with your impending victory at Night of Glory, will your family be in attendance?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: I appreciate the confidence in me winning. I’m not sure if they will be able to make it to Long Island for the match seeing as how they live in Oregon. I would LOVE for them to be there but I understand that work and travel arrangements can keep them from making it.
CIRCLE TV: Is there anything you’d like to add for the fans before we close?
MILISANDRE CROWTHORNE: Um, just that I hope they enjoy it, and the rest of Night of Glory 4. Oh and, like, they will be able to get Cthul-Aid at the event.
