Interviews “The Bubblegum Bombshell” Roxy Cotton, Ladies All-Star Wrestling star!
At LAW #70 Roxy Cotton became the new Chaos Champion. We speak to the champ about her win, Cool Kids, LFL, and more!
CIRCLE TV: First off, congratulations on your very hard fought win at LAW 70 over a 3-Time Chaos Champion. You must be elated with your victory.
ROXY COTTON: Thanks, I am! It's, like, really cool to prove myself right to all of the haters and wannabes that called me worthless.
CIRCLE TV: Well, you now have a title to prove them wrong. Now that you are champion, who do you see as a contender? The former champ or someone new?
ROXY COTTON: I'll defend against anyone! I'm not going to be like the weak AF [as f*ck] former champion, who doesn't deserve the publicity of me saying her name, but I would be lying if I didn't say there was a certain someone who I think deserves to be embarrassed by yours truly sooner than later.
CIRCLE TV: We couldn’t help but notice that Kate Steele basically threw down the gauntlet after your win. Is she the woman you have in mind?
ROXY COTTON: You're good at this! Kate can't stop trying to sniff all the Cool Kids' panties, whether it's Sar [Sarah Lacklan] or Mil [Milisandre Crowthorne]. I'm happy to put her down.
CIRCLE TV: On LAW 71 she takes on Milisandre Crowthorne in the main event. Should Kate lose, would your thoughts change on her as a valid contender?
ROXY COTTON: Well, I expect her to lose, so it doesn't really change anything. I don't think she deserves a title shot, I'm just willing to give one. to anyone that LAW decides to put in front of me. The era of non-title BS [bullsh*t] ended when I choked out the last girl, that's what us Cool Kids are all about. Shaking up the status quo and making this a better company. We all make more money that way, you know?
CIRCLE TV: Let’s shift gears, since you bring it up. ‘The Cool Kids’ have been a magnet for hate since day one. Why do you think that is?
ROXY COTTON: Because people are jealous. They see the tides turning, they see people enjoying their lives and being hot and important, and they aren't part of it. Its envy and it's more flattering than anything else. The same basics that insult me online slide in my DMs [direct messages] to beg for more.
CIRCLE TV: So, ‘The Cool Kids’ are turning the tides. Do you care to expand on that?
ROXY COTTON: It's simple: in LAW, you have a bunch if lazy champions who just sit on their belts and do nothing. Nobody got an opportunity. I created my opportunity by driving the former Chaos Champion into a position where she had no choice; and that's what we're going to do to all of them. Millar [Crystal Millar], Etsuko, and especially Amy Jo [Amy Jo Smyth]. No more boring 'champions challenges' so they can circle jerk about how great they are just real challenges and real main events that the fans actually care to see. There's a reason the ratings have been up lately, right?
CIRCLE TV: You have certainly made an impact in the ring, but let’s talk about your ventures outside of it, namely Firestarter Brand Clothing, what’s next?
ROXY COTTON: Oh! Firestarter is amazing and is going to set the fashion world ablaze. Sar let me help design some of the intimates line, and I call it Cotton's Candies. I do the modeling, of course, because why wouldn't I? It's going to be a HOT seller. Get it? LOL [laughing out loud] I'm funny.
CIRCLE TV: Comedy, wrestling, modeling, and not to mention being a member of the Cincinnati Hit Girls for the Ladies Lingerie Football League. How has that experience been?
ROXY COTTON: Well, it was going really well. I'm busting my butt on the field to get into the win column and doing good but some don't appreciate it.
CIRCLE TV: When you say ‘some’ are you talking about Interim Coach Mindy Mercer and General Manager Sidney Grey?
ROXY COTTON: Yes, obviously. It's no secret the office is more concerned with counting the money I make them than they are with winning. Mindy doesn't like me, so she designs plays to minimize me. It's petty AF and hurts the team. We win when I score, period. Coda's sweet but come on. She doesn't really know what she's doing. She's just open a lot because I'm such a threat, you know? But Sid [Sidney Grey] and Mindy [Mindy Mercer] are just satisfied with owning. They don't even go to the games!
CIRCLE TV: You threatened to sit out practice as the Hit Girls prepare for their game against the undefeated Honolulu Havok. Is that still the plan?
ROXY COTTON: Why practice when it doesn't make it onto the field come game time? I'm going to be in shape, Ken [Kenzi Grey-Lacklan] and I have great chemistry either way so I'll do my thing this week and on Friday I'll ignore the weaksauce playbook and do what I do best: outrun basics and catch balls deep.
CIRCLE TV: One final question; you’ve been a lightning rod for hate for some time but it never seems to phase you. Why is that, what makes you not care?
ROXY COTTON: Why would I care? Every day I wake up looking like me and living my life. They don't. I win just by existing. They're the shook ones, not moi.
CIRCLE TV: You certainly don’t lack for confidence. Any parting thoughts that you’d like to leave with our readers?
ROXY COTTON: Keep watching me. You'll be glad you did.
CIRCLE TV: Thank you very much for this revealing interview. We look forward to speaking with you again in the very near future!
ROXY COTTON: Thx bb [thanks baby] I know you do. xoxo [hugs and kisses]
