Frustrated with herself, Kenzi goes to Lacklanland’s gym facility to work out her frustrations with the morning and with herself. The morning had started with the highest of highs…she had poured her entire heart into showing Sarah how much she loved her. She had told her things that she would never tell another…bared her soul. She’d laid with her lover until she’d fallen back to sleep, then Kenzi had set about the business of preparing her wedding and promising to break the faces of Cass Baumer and Sam Tolson for laying hands on her Baby.
When Sarah had awaken, see saw the ‘likes’ of her early morning posts…and then she was off to engage in other pursuits; mainly engaging with the other #CoolKids. It wasn’t a bad thing and it wasn’t wrong…it was just the way of things.
Kenzi fired off a quick ‘Psssssst!’ hoping to steal little banter for herself…but talk with Mili over Frick was more entertaining. Hindsight being 20/20, she was certainly right, the dynamic between Mili and Frick was becoming ‘a thing’ but Kenzi was already too upset to realize it. She started another fight with Sarah that ended up leaving them both angry.
As soon as Jacob showed up, he knew that things were not going to go well for him. He swallowed as he stared at her, “…duchess…”
Kenzi proceeded to use him like a life-sized punching bag, savaging him as she poured her anger and self-loathing into hurting him…all the while crying uncontrollably over her inability to be what her lover needed her to be…
…sane…
