COMBUSTIBLE ELEMENTS!
7:00 am 2/26/17
7:00 am 2/26/17
Guilty Pleasure and The Boardwalk Angels
With Ladies All-Star Wrestling Rising Stars kicking off tonight, Washington D.C. was already abuzz with fans pouring in to witness the first big pay-per-view of the year. As if the show needed more advertising, fans and locals alike found themselves in the middle of a volatile situation during the early morning hours today when a verbal confrontation inside a local night club (DC9) almost turned violent. At the heart of it, a pair of tag teams with championship aspirations; Farrah Martell and Zoey Madigan of the Boardwalk Angels and Kenzi Grey and Kate Steele of Guilty Pleasure.
Witnesses say that hostilities began with the foursome got into a heated verbal shouting match and had to be physically separated by security. Violence was stopped this time, but tonight could be an entirely different situation. All four women are scheduled to be in action tonight and there is little doubt that security will be hard pressed to keep these combustible elements apart.
This incident may have only served to up viewership of LAW’s signature event as the strife between these four has continued to escalate over the last several weeks since their first and only match ended in a double disqualification at LAW #57. The Boardwalk Angels received a number 1 contender’s match the following show while Guilty Pleasure wasn’t booked. Many fans cried foul over what seemed to be a booking snafu, but perhaps LAW management is crazy like a fox because its tag team division has never been hotter.
Regardless of the match outcomes tonight, LAW and its fans will be the big winners because these two teams collide again, whether it’s for gold or just for good old fashioned dislike for one another!
