Sarah had been forceful the last two days. Not mean...never mean. She loved Kenzi intensely, would give up anything for her, if she wished it. But her anger, and the surprisingly positive response from Kenzi at Sarah's anger, had her being demanding and fully in charge at all times. She had decided what they were doing, where they were going, what they ate. She decided when and how they were intimate, which had all been with the same theme of Sarah restraining her wife, rough sex, and talking shit the entire time.
Now on the plane, preparing for their long day of travel, with them being on a surprise side trip so that Sarah could ‘Make a statement’ in EWC, Sarah sets down her phone. "Kiss me like you could lose me. Now."
Kenzi set aside her book, and flipped up her reading glasses, securing them atop her head as she took Sarah’s face in her hands and kissed her, tongue pushing its way between her lips and into her lover’s mouth. She tasted every bit of her Selena, her kiss savagely earnest.
“EWWWWEE” A young boy said as he walked past from the bathroom.
Kenzi never broke her kiss as she reached out and pie faced the kid down the aisle. She continued her kiss, crushing her lover close to her. When they finally broke free, they were both out of breath. Kenzi spoke not a word, just kept her dark eyes on her lover’s red ones, hoping that she had pleased her physically in a way she had not been able to inside the ring.
Sarah smiles at Kenzi as she fights to breathe normally and quench the fires burning in her. She wanted to kiss Kenzi forever. She wanted to punch her. She wanted to make sweet love to her. She wanted to brutalize her face until the begged for an end for the revelation that they were not actually married legally because of Kenzi’s indiscretion last year. Still, Sarah loved her ‘wife’ regardless of what any drunkenly signed marriage certificate said out of Las Vegas. "Forever."
She caresses her cheek gently, lovingly, before she turns back to her business. She nonchalantly uses her left hand, making sure that the light glinted off her ring, to open her shirt a bit so that the key to the handcuffs were clearly on view as they say on the necklace around her neck. A reminder of their earlier romp and the promise of another, if she were bad…or good…perhaps both.
Kenzi managed a small smile as she turned her attention back to her Scientology studies for tomorrow....it was all she could do not brood about the talk the two of them had in the Shinto garden. Sarah had apologized for what she had said, saying that it wasn't meant the way she had said it, but Kenzi didn't believe her. When enough people told you the same thing, it wasn't them, it was you. It just hurt that it had come from Sarah of all people...but at least now she could stop making a fool out of herself...making a fool out of her wife...assuming she really was ever going to be her wife legitimately. She sighed as she started reading, hoping to be ready for tomorrow's Audit that would finally make her a legitimate Scientologist.
A FEW HOURS LATER…
Sarah abruptly turned to Kenzi, speaking as if they had been in deep conversation the entire time. "Since there is this...contention...as to the validity of our marriage, I have decided that, along with my display name, my display pictures henceforth shall only depict you and I together as a unit." She sets down her phone and ruffles through her bag until she pulls out her ledger to go over numbers. "You ARE my wife, after all."
Kenzi looked at Sarah and started to respond, but Sarah’s body language made it clear that what she said was not up for debate. She had made up her mind, and that was that. Kenzi could only turn her attention back to the window as the plane glided through the skies, taking them to their next destination…

They had came in super late, but it felt good to be back in, what was for all intents and purposes, their summer home. The two wasted no time heralding their return to their neighbors with obviously loud lovemaking. No doubt, the Superintendent, Mr. Bookman would have a mailbox full of complaints before 8 am.
…mission accomplished…
As the two girls lay together in a sweaty tangle of black braids, platinum hair, and ebony and pale arms and legs, Kenzi kissed Sarah on her forehead. She hugged Sarah tightly, enjoying the feel of her warm body against hers. "I want you to know. I decided today. I'm quitting..." She paused, holding her breath as she collected herself, or at least tried to. "...wrestling. This Empire Pro Tag Title match will be my last one."
Sarah’s breath catches and she tries not to tremble. "I...um..." She shakes her head. "Why?"
Kenzi holds her tightly, feeling her curves, enjoying the way they fit against hers, just like a perfect interlocking puzzle piece. "Because, I'm not good...I wanted to be. I wanted to be your equal, I wanted you to be proud of me. Instead, I'm nothing more than a distraction." She is silent, then speaks softly in a quiet voice. "...I'd rather just ruin one dream instead of two..." Kenzi wanted to be good in the sport…she wanted it with all her heart, more than the acting, singing…more than anything, except her Sarah. If there was a choice between the two, Sarah would win every single time without hesitation.
Sarah lets her hands roam as she thinks. She feels her body heating up again as she does so, feels the soft curves of her lover. "What happens if we win in Canda? What happens if we become tag team champions? Would you abandon Team Kickass?"
Kenzi added, "We will win! I want your first title to be with me. Then...I'll find you a suitable partner." She kisses her, "Someone you can count on."
Sarah’s response is visceral, "The ONLY person I can count on is my wife." She kisses her back. "I forbid your intention to retire so soon." She kisses her again, harder, letting her hands get caught in her braids. "We...TOGETHER...are going to dominate this sport. We clear?"
Sarah's words are the right ones, but she can't help but feel that they are only that, the right words. "I know you think you're doing the right thing. But...don't spare my feelings. I value you and your career far more than you know." She kisses Sarah again. "We can talk more after I get my Scientology Audit in the morning."
Sarah's face and words turn stern and controlling. "I. For. Bid. It." Her hands roam with passion and care. A particular yearning coursed through her. “End of discussion…now…make love to me."
The two fell back into their old habits easily, but despite Sarah’s proclamation, Kenzi had also made up her mind. She was going to quit…for the good of her relationship…for the good of Sarah’s career. Kenzi loved the dream of being someone in this business after two long years of struggle, but she had only succeeded in being the punchline to a terrible joke. She didn’t want to drag Sarah down into that same mire…so…she’d give up her dream, so that Sarah could finally live hers…
